A simple recipe that is full of flavours 😋 This slow cooker dish is a staple of mine. Tonight we’re having slow cooked chicken in honey, garlic and soy…yum! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 3 Chicken breast
100ml of runny honey 100ml of soy sauce 200ml of water 3 cloves of garlic 1 small onion 20ml of freshly squeezed lime juice ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I simply place all of this in the slow cooker with no prior cooking and cook on high for 3 -4 hours or low for 6-7 hours. I quickly put the chicken in the wok to make the honey a bit sticky and served up. I like to serve this with rice 🍚 and some”long” broccoli 🥦 topped with some spring onion and sesame seeds. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ What is your go to slow cooker recipe?
